Description and tasks

Are you a motivated and experienced warehouse worker looking for an opportunity to learn and grow? If so, Bulten NA is the place for you! 

 

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to ensure the daily warehouse shipment of goods in/out that meet the needs of the customer/supplier.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all orders are picked/packed/prepared and completed in accordance with the requirements of the customer
  • Ensuring all prepared shipments are properly identified and moved to dock area to be staged for pickup in a timely manner.
  • Ensure daily checks are carried out on material handling equipment and warehouse racking to ensure the safety of both staff and equipment.
  • Ensure material handling equipment is used in accordance with the relevant work instructions.
  • Ensure all stock is located accurately in the proper locations.
  • Manage Incoming areas – move product as requested and keep traded area in order (put into rack locations in timely manner)
  • Ability to stop any order packing or shipment if any quality opportunity is found in either the product and/or containers. Quality Dept. is to be notified immediately.
  • Load all trucks as required.
  • Unload all LTL, containers and etc. and verify all paperwork is accurate.
  • Manage Incoming/Outgoing/Traded areas – move product as requested and keep traded area in order (breakdown and put into rack locations in timely manner)
  • Ability to stop any order packing or shipment if any quality opportunity is found in either the product and/or containers. Quality Dept. is to be notified immediately.
  • Ensure all accidents, near misses or areas of concern are raised to the Operations Manager or other Company Management is a timely manner.
  • Ensure warehouse is kept in a clean, tidy, organized and safe environment to minimize and safety risks.
  • Support other team members customers during holiday periods and sickness.
  • Maintain/Implement 6S standards
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, stack, and pull products off shelves of various heights
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards. Comply with all ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO-45001 procedures and work instructions. 

 

Candidate Profile

Requirements:

1-2 years in warehouse functional role.
Knowledge of ERP, inventory control, standard material logistics
Knowledge of forklifts (function/safety)
