We are looking for a Maintenance Technician This position is located in Streetsboro, OH and reports to the Production Manager in North America. 

 

Bulten North America distributes and produce fasteners to the North American automotive industry. The operations of Bulten North America started in 2017 and is located in Streetsboro, Ohio. We are approximately 20 employees working in sales and manufacturing.

 

 

Role Purpose

This position is responsible to ensure successful, cost-effective, timely cold heading, secondary, assembly support for Manufacturing processes. This includes the day-to-day operations to support, utilization/OEE/PM's of all equipment, support, and facility.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance functional area
Create KANBAN on key items
Manage excel/M3 (ERP for accuracy) as trained
Organize all tooling, key parts, standard supplies
Maintain/Implement 6S standards
Manage work order program (executing work required/supplies)
Develop spare parts critical list for equipment, support, facility
Develop PM programs equipment, support, facility (execute work required/supplies)
Work with outside contractors
Process an understanding of electricity, electrical systems, electrical motor/pump control systems, and process control instrumentation
Continuous Improvement on Utilization/OEE? production Efficiency results
Assemble, install, and maintain day to day maintenance needs required
Work with ladders, scaffolds, power lifts, and roofs
Operate heavy equipment, forklifts, scissor lifts in a safe manner as per safety regulations
PLC/HMI trouble shooting experience
Other duties as assigned

Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards. Comply with all ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO-45001 procedures and work instructions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor degree or two-year degree (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, hydraulic, heaters, pumps, compressors, gas, water systems, electrical, manufacturing equipment, and like items.
  • Working knowledge of common computer skills Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications from training centers or licenses a plus.
