Business Development Engineer (MRO Business)

Description and tasks

This role reports to the Regional KAM-SEA and is responsible to lead the way to identify, develop and close new sales revenue streams for our MRO business in Singapore


He/She will need to be a strong influencer both internally and externally at work to get things done effectively.

Responsibilities: -

  • Drive sales and business development for MRO offerings for local Singapore market.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Understand customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts across all products and service solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Proactively visit potential customers to explore MRO business opportunities to pitch and promote our MRO offerings in the bid to achieve sales targets.
  • Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products and to achieve the desired growth in sales revenue with healthy margins.
  • Maintain timely customer records, CRM data and sales reporting data in Salesforce to enable accurate analysis of business trends and opportunities.
  • Independent and self-driven professional with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

Qualification & Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of proven industrial sales experience.
  • Prior knowledge of MRO, Cleanroom Consumables + PPE, Hand tools products etc will be advantageous.
  • With strong existing working relationships and connections in the OEM/ODM manufacturing industry scene will be considered with priority.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Salesforce preferably.
  • Possess class 3 driving license and own vehicle.
