Job title

Warehouse/Receiving Associate

Description and tasks

To ensure the daily warehouse shipment of goods in/out that meet the needs of the customer/supplier.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Check for daily pick lists and start the order fulfillment process by picking and pulling the correct items

·         Return any unused inventory to the designated storage area, ensuring it is marked with a pallet flag for proper tracking and management

·         Label each item appropriately for easy identification and delivery in accordance with customer requirements

·         Pack the orders securely to prevent damage during transportation

·         Wrap finished orders for shipment readiness and stage in dock area for timely pickup

·         Hand off completed orders to the Materials Coordinator for further processing

·         Load all trucks as required

·         Unload/breakdown containers, verify the quantity of inventory received

·         Receive containers into the ERP system and ensure accurate data entry

·         Create pallet flags for remaining inventory to ensure proper identification

·         Stage inventory in racks in a timely manner

·         Ensure all accidents, near misses or areas of concern are reported to the MP&L Manager or EHS Manger in a timely manner

·         Ensure warehouse is kept in a clean, tidy, organized and safe environment to minimize safety risks

·         Support other team members during holiday periods and sickness

·         Maintain/Implement 6S standards

·         Other duties as assigned

 

 

Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards.  Comply with all ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO-45001 procedures and work instructions.

 

 

Candidate Profile

Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role

Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory tracking and order management

Knowledge of fork lifts (function/safety)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Physical ability to lift and move products, as well as stand for extended periods

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
