Job title

PPAP Coordinator (Spitfire Park, Birmingham)

Description and tasks

Role Purpose

Review and issue all PPAP documentation in accordance with customer requirements. Maintain and update PPAP database, issue approvals to suppliers/manufacturing units as required. This role reports to the Quality Manager.

 

Main duties/ responsibilities

  • Preparation of PPAP documents and submitting to the customers’ requirements on time
  • Receiving PPAP documents from suppliers and ensuring they are of appropriate standard
  • Checking parts submitted as samples adhere to the customer specifications
  • Responding to any queries, both internal and external
  • Creating and updating IMDS submissions
  • Ensuring PPAP tracker is completed and up to date to meet customer deadlines and requirements
  • Support CQA Team with 8D investigation
  • Ensuring standards being referenced are current and relevant
  • To assist as required with any other reasonable request in line with SQ business needs and overall business needs

 

KPI’s of the role

PPAP – Completed, On time, Right First Time, Tracker errors

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preparation of PPAP documents
  • Technical background
  • Communication skill
  • Problem solving (Root cause analysis and Corrective action)
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Work Instructions relevant to role
  • Knowledge of and adherence to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Bulten Group Health and Safety Policy and procedures
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Bulten Group Environmental Policy

 

Our Offer

This is a permanent, full time opportunity to work from our office in Spitfire Park, Birmingham. B24 9PR

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 with 1 hour unpaid break, 35 hours per week

Salary is competitive and dependant on experience 

25 days holiday allowance plus recognised bank holidays, pro rata for those joining part way through the holiday year 

8% non-contributory pension scheme paid from day 1 

Life assurance policy of 4 x annual salary
