Role Purpose
Reporting to the Engineer Manager, the purpose of the role is to project manage all aspects of saving idealization, project management of savings and delivering savings within the JLR FSP account, on time and in line with Bulten’s the customer’s expectations and presenting regular updates to required stakeholders.
Main duties/responsibilities
- Work as part of the engineering team and with procurement department to deliver a best in class service to JLR.
- Complete end to end project management of savings.
- Ensure a good working relationship is maintained with JLR with any concerns escalated to the Engineering manager.
- Create & maintain an accurate project planning documentation
- Reporting out internally and externally on a regular basis.
- Work as part of a cross functional team to support the JLR TVM (Cost Reduction Processes) and Design studies to create optimized cost effective Fastening solutions.
- Attend JLR Fastener Engineering and Launch meetings as require
- To assist as required with any other reasonable request in line with business needs or customer/client requirements
- Knowledge of and adherence to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949
- Knowledge of and adherence to Bulten Group & Bulten Ltd Health and Safety Policy and procedures
- Knowledge of and adherence to Bulten Ltd Environmental Policy

- Accurate saving projections / budgets
- Reported savings delivered on time
- Reported savings achieved as per projection / budgets
- Key projects milestone tracking
Experience and knowledge required for the role
Essential
- Project Management Qualification i.e. APM / Prinz
- Working experience in Project Management
- Working experience in procurement processes and environment
- Ability to travel on a limited basis to Bulten Plants and JLR Locations in Europe as required
- A working knowledge of MS Office, Excel/Word etc.
Desirable
- Experience of the Fastener Industry
- Experience of the Automotive Industry
- Commercial awareness

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working 35 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
