Sales Engineer/ Executive

Description and tasks

As a Sales Engineer/Executive, you will assume a pivotal role in propelling the sales process forward by seamlessly integrating technical expertise with sales acumen. Your primary responsibilities will encompass understanding our customer needs, providing technical support, and presenting tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements. This role demands a blend of robust technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing assigned customers or accounts by developing strong relationships and understanding customer needs
  • Responsible for growing and retaining their assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for expansion, promoting additional products or services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities such as exhibitions, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution discussions with potential customers.
  • Work closely with customers to propose suitable solutions based on their requirements.
  • Assists in the development of sales proposals, quotations, and presentations, ensuring that they accurately reflect the technical specifications, capabilities, and value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Gather market feedback on product performance, customer requirements, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, engineering, quality and customer support) to address customer needs, resolve technical issues, and ensure execution of sales initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Pre-requisites:

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar industry.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
