Description and tasks

Curious about working for Bulten? As part of Bulten GmbH the Finance Manager will play an important role in managing and lead the local Finance team and financial processes of GmbH. This includes evaluating financial performance, preparing financial reports, data extraction, and end-to-end project management. Performing financial and controlling tasks in accordance with the Groups instructions and according to applicable legislation and instructions from time to time.

The position is based at our plant in Bergkamen, reports to the Managing Director and is a member of the local management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly financial and management reporting in a correct manner and on time
  • Coordinate and lead the preparation of the financial budgets and forecasts including the identification/quantification of risks and opportunities
  • Perform accurate and timely reporting to the parent company/Group as applicable and requested from time to time
  • Perform accurate and timely external reporting to authorities and other stakeholders applicable and/or as assigned from time to time
  • Ensure the annual financial statements comply with applicable law and group policies
  • Regularly present potential opportunities, scenarios, and possible outcomes to the management team
  • Direct and manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents and reports
  • Understand the big picture while managing the day-to-day financial details
  • Monitor and follow-up capex
  • Plan and manage liquidity and cash-flow reporting.
  • Support for annual national and international transfer pricing
  • Participation in national and international projects
  • Review financial and legal documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll transactions, invoicing, and other transactions
  • Leading the relationship with auditors, tax consultants, authorities, insurance companies and banks
  • Managing all taxation matters
  • Adhering to financial regulations and legislation, proactively seeking information and continuously develops knowledge and professional development
  • Monitoring internal financial control
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company, in alignment with Group polices and guidelines
  • Lead, coach, manage and develop employees (direct reports) so that they can contribute and perform with the right pre-requisites and high engagement

Candidate Profile

We are curious about you!

To succeed in the role you have strong communication and leadership skills. Experience and knowledge in the field is required such as knowledge of accounting, controlling and taxes but most important for us is your attitude to learn and cooperate with your team and stakeholders.

English language skills and Business studies with a focus on finance and controlling or comparable training is required.
